Acts of Kindness and Brushworks Coatings are hosting a Christmas celebration for children from children’s homes and children with special needs: a day filled with fun, laughter, love and Christmas magic, where every child belongs.

Lawn Bowls Fundraiser: rolling for a reason

· Bronkhorstspruit Lawn Bowls Club

The day started cold and rainy, but what a wonderful day it turned out to be. Nineteen teams played, many generous sponsors and willing hands made it happen, and the top three teams went home with lovely prizes. Our children spent time with students from the University of Pretoria’s Physiotherapy Department, and Moira from Golden Pond Trading gave them a special experience with the horses.

The money raised is already at work: five children have had eye tests and received new glasses.

Thank you to the Bronkhorstspruit Lawn Bowls Club, Martin and his restaurant team, and every company, team and person who sponsored, donated, entered a team or helped in any way.

Fundraising events

These help fund therapy, assessments, educational support, equipment and opportunities for children. Equally important, they build community. Every person who attends, sponsors, volunteers or participates becomes part of the story.
