Activities & therapy
Supporting the whole child
Every child is different. There is no single programme that works the same way for everyone. Our aim is to help families access the combination of support and opportunities that is right for their child.
Therapies and supports
We help connect families with practitioners offering:
- Occupational therapy
- Physiotherapy
- Speech and language support
- Aquatic therapy
- Therapeutic horse riding
Therapies are delivered by qualified independent professionals and partner organisations. Acts of Kindness helps families find them, and where we can, helps carry the cost.
Movement, sport and creative opportunities
- Dance and ballet
- Gymnastics
- Playball and sport
- Strength and conditioning
- Music and piano
- Creative play
Strength and conditioning is always age- and ability-appropriate.
Academic support
Individualised learning support that respects each child’s strengths, needs and pace.
About the Tutor CentreIt’s not just about the activity
A child may come for therapy and discover confidence.
They may come for dance and find belonging.
They may start swimming and realise they can do something they once thought impossible.
The activity matters. What happens because of the activity can matter even more.
